Meet Ellyn!

Hi there! My name is Ellyn, which means "sun ray" or "shining light", and I hope to be a ray of light in your life. I have a calming yet joyful energy, a strong intuition and innate healing abilities that I feel called to share. 

I am a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology - now focusing on my soul's true purpose as an Energy Medicine Practitioner. 

In childhood I could easily connect with the spirit world and knew I had healing abilities, but didn't know what to do with it... 

In 1995 I had a near death experience when Influenza B attacked my heart. Cardiac surgeons used cryotherapy to safely disconnect my heart from my body to place me on a biventricular assist device  that pumped the blood for me while I recovered from the virus. I believe this experience opened me up to a deeper  connection with nature and the Universe. 

I experienced my Spiritual Awakening in 2019 when going through a series of health setbacks, as they tend to do... I was offered Reiki by an Integrative Nurse to help me cope and when we first met there was an instant connection and she  helped me start my path of learning, and I haven't stopped yet!

I am now a Reiki Master in the Usui Shiki Ryoho form, Energy Medicine Practitioner, Synergy of Sound Healing Conductor, Meditation Teacher, Energy For Life Coach, and now a 300Hr Sva Ha Yoga Teacher Training, having completed my 200Hr in May 2025 and an additional 100Hr 'Balance, Bliss & Bhakti training in 2026, focused on the Yoga of Love and Devotion. I am certified in Mediumship as well, and am presently enrolled in ongoing Advanced Energy Medicine classes at Sva Ha Academy.

In my spare time I have a passion for native pollinator-friendly gardening and hiking the Appalachian Trail. So far I have backpacked over 1400 miles from northern Tennessee to Crawford Notch in New Hampshire.
